Atlanta, GA (September 23, 2019) – DeKalb County Police responded to the scene of a tractor-trailer accident with injuries that took place this morning at 7 a.m.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the accident, which took place in the southbound lanes of I-285. However, they said that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident.
The accident allegedly involved a tractor-trailer and various passenger vehicles. One of the vehicles was badly damaged and photographs showed emergency responders assisting those in it.
Though the extent of injuries is not yet known, paramedics took one or more people to the hospital with a variety of injuries. Because of an emergency response presence, there were massive delays in the area.
No other information has been released concerning the accident. At this time, the investigation continues.
