Duluth, GA (September 23, 2019) – Police in Gwinnett County, as well as other emergency responders, were dispatched to the scene of a car accident with injuries on GA-403.
According to authorities, the multi-vehicle collision took place in the southbound lanes close to the right shoulder. All of the vehicles were quickly cleared from the roadway as to not contribute to delays in the area. For those leaving the area near SR-316, delays continued for quite some time early this morning.
Police have not confirmed the circumstances leading up to the collision but they have said that at least three or more vehicles collided with one another. There were various damages to the vehicles and injuries were reported. However, at this time, we do not know how many were injured, just that paramedics were present and assisting at the scene.
Other information relating to the incident has not been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
