Villa Rica, GA – Car Accident Leads to Injuries on I-20

Villa Rica, GA (September 3, 2019) – Police confirmed that a car accident took place early this morning in the eastbound lanes of I-20 in Villa Rica.

According to authorities, the accident took place when a vehicle was involved in an accident and immediately went off the road into the woods line.

The accident blocked traffic closest to the right shoulder, where emergency vehicles, police, and other responders parked. The crash left delays going into Lithonia.

Paramedics who assisted at the scene claimed that one or more parties were injured in the accident. They were immediately hospitalized with injuries.

Police still do not know the exact circumstances leading up to the accident and continue to investigate at this time.
