Smyrna, GA – One Critically Injured in Car Crash on South Cobb Dr

Smyrna, GA (September 8, 2019) – On Saturday, one person was critically injured in a car crash that took place on South Cobb Drive in Smyrna.

According to police, the crash took place on South Cobb Drive. Smyrna Police were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they discovered that three vehicles had collided with one another. The vehicles scattered all around after the accident, leaving the roadway.

Police have since discovered that two of the vehicles struck each other in a head-on collision, then involving a third vehicle.

Smyrna Police and the Georgia State Patrol urged motorists to use Atlanta Road while delays built up on the roadway. Police are not sure of which party is at fault for the accident and are still attempting to make contact with the injured party’s family.

At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
