Sandy Springs, GA (September 25, 2019) – Late tonight, police in Sandy Springs issued a travel advisory after a serious car accident with injuries on Roswell Road.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but claim that it caused damages so severe that one vehicle had to be towed to the scene. The multiple vehicles involved sustained severe damages but police have not yet confirmed what caused them to collide with one another.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the southbound lanes and caused delays all the way back to Hammond Drive.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries, though we do not know the exact number of individuals who sustained injuries and how severe they were.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
