Duluth, GA (September 25, 2019) – This afternoon around 3 p.m., police and other responders were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision with injuries on GA-403.
The accident, according to police, took place between multiple vehicles including two or more passenger vehicles and a pickup truck attached to a trailer. The accident was a chain-reaction collision that led to severe damages. The crash caused the pickup truck to turn sideways near the barrier.
Due to the extent of the damages and driver’s inability to move vehicles, there were massive and heavy delays in the area for some time. Police are not yet sure what caused the accident and for drivers to lose control.
Paramedics were prompted to the scene of the collision so that they could assist those with injuries. At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
