Rome, GA (September 22, 2019) – Around 6:30 p.m. last night, September 21, police responded to a motorcycle accident with serious injuries on the Kingston Highway in Rome.
Police claim that the crash took place between a Jeep and a motorcycle when traveling on the highway. They have not yet confirmed what caused the collision between the two.
The crash closed that area of the roadway for an unspecified amount of time. The woman riding the motorcycle was immediately airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. We do not know her condition at this time.
At this time, police have confirmed that they continue their investigation into the accident.
