Marietta, GA (September 15, 2019) – Early this afternoon, police responded to the scene of a car crash on I-75, also known as the Larry McDonald Memorial Highway that led to injuries.
The accident, according to authorities, took place in the southbound lanes of the highway. The crash involved two or more vehicles that became involved in a chain-reaction collision for reasons that are not yet known.
According to authorities, the crash blocked the far left lane past the Loop and led to serious delays in the area. Paramedics assisted at the scene of the accident while that part of the road was closed down, but we do not know the extent of their injuries.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
