Eton, GA (September 1, 2019) – Last evening around 4:49 p.m., August 31, police responded to the scene of a motorcycle crash that took place at an Eton intersection.
According to Murray County Police, the crash took place at the intersection of Highway 286 and Old CCC Camp Road. The crash led to injuries to the parties involved.
Police claim that the motorcycle pulled into the intersection, which is when the bike struck a car. Photographs at the scene of the accident showed the car door caved in and the bike in pieces on the roadway.
The riders of the motorcycle survived but police said that they were flown from the scene to a local hospital to be treated for severe injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues at this time.
