Acworth, GA (September 1, 2019) – Gordon County Police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash that took place in the northbound lanes of I-75 and caused a variety of damages.
The accident took place near an exit and closed all lanes of the highway. It took approximately four hours for emergency responders to clear the scene of the accident.
The area was blocked for some time and there were massive delays in the area due to the presence of emergency vehicles assisting at the scene.
Paramedics confirmed that one or more parties were injured in the accident, with the parties being hospitalized. Police did not comment on their conditions.
At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
