Dalton, GA (September 6, 2019) – This morning before noon, police and other emergency services responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Dalton.
The accident, according to police, took place in the northbound lanes of I-75 and involved two vehicles that have not yet been identified. Police are not sure what caused the parties to collide on the highway.
The Interstate was closed down in the area, leading to massive delays for some time.
Paramedics assisted one or more parties at the scene. One of the parties, identified as a woman, allegedly received broken bones. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
