Atlanta, GA (September 5, 2019) – Around 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon, September 4, police were called to the scene of a scooter accident that took place on North Avenue.
The woman who had been riding the e-scooter was injured in the crash. At the time, she was trying to make a turn when she was suddenly struck by another vehicle. Police claim that she was rushed to the hospital with injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the woman was issued a citation. They stayed at the scene of the accident.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
