Atlanta, GA (September 10, 2019) – Early this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident involving multiple vehicles that took place on I-85.
Because of the number of lanes blocked by the accident, a temporary red alert was released by Atlanta Police. The accident took place in the northbound lanes of the highway when multiple vehicles collided, causing one to spin out of control and land in the center lanes of the highway.
All lanes were blocked on the highway for quite some time, leading to massive delays in the area.
Paramedics and other emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident, where they assisted parties with their injuries.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
