Acworth, GA (September 9, 2019) – This morning around 5 a.m. in foggy conditions, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place in the northbound lanes of I-75.
Police claim that the accident led to a variety of damages and only a left lane was open. This led to major delays in the area for quite some time. Police were redirecting traffic in the area to I-675.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances leading to the accident but have said that it took place when multiple vehicles collided with one another, causing serious damages to the others involved.
Paramedics assisted at the scene, though we do not know the extent of the injuries involved.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
