Acworth, GA (September 4, 2019) – This morning around 9 a.m., police and other responders arrived to assist at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on I-75.
According to police, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of the interstate and caused injuries to parties involved. The crash was quickly moved onto the left shoulder.
Authorities commented that there were major delays in the area, which is also experiencing construction at this time.
Police did not confirm how the accident happened but they said that it took place between a pickup truck and a red SUV. Injuries were reported and paramedics were present at the scene, assisting those in need.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently ongoing.
