Villa Rica, GA (September 20, 2019) – Douglas County authorities responded to the scene of a serious multi-vehicle accident on GA-402 in Villa Rica.
The crash took place early this morning when police claim that three or more vehicles collided with one another. The accident caused severe damages to the vehicles involved. Police did not comment on the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
Only one left lane was open to traffic, causing a variety of delays in the area for most of the morning. Police were redirecting traffic to Highway 78.
Various emergency responders were present at the scene including firefighters and at least two ambulances, which assisted injured parties. We do not know the conditions of those involved at this time.
Police continue their investigation into the accident.
