Trion, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on US-27

Trion, GA (September 20, 2019) – Last night, the Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on US-27 in Trion.
The accident, according to police, took place in front of the Murphy USA convenience store. Through a preliminary investigation, authorities found that a red Chevy Cruz had been turning left onto Highway 27 from the local Walmart. They suddenly pulled out in front of a Honda Civic traveling south at the time.

The two vehicles collided with force, causing serious damages to the two involved. The Honda Civic had severe front-end damage.

Paramedics assisted at the scene and injuries were reported; however, we do not know how severe the injuries were.

The investigation into the accident is currently being handled by GSP.
