Trion, GA (September 4, 2019) – Early this morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries that took place in Trion for reasons still under investigation.
Police have not commented on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that it took place on Highway 27. Police claim that one of the vehicles involved ended up in the guard rail on the side of the road, leading to serious damages.
Paramedics and other responders were immediately called to the scene of the crash to assist those with injuries. Police did not comment on the nature of the injuries involved.
The southbound lanes of the road were closed down for some time.
At this time, police continue to investigate the accident.
