Savannah, GA (September 7, 2019) – Chatham County Police responded to the scene of a rollover accident with injuries that took place on Ogeechee Road in Savannah.
The accident, according to authorities, took place in the southbound lanes of the roadway. The crash took place around noon.
Police claim that one of the vehicles involved in the accident rolled over immediately after they made impact. One person received serious injuries and paramedics took the party to the hospital by ambulance.
The southbound lanes of the roadway were closed for quite some time so that the accident could be cleared. Drivers were told to find alterative routes.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
