Savannah, GA (September 21, 2019) – Last night around 8:45 p.m., police responded to a serious pedestrian accident that took place on Montgomery Street in Savannah.
At the time of the crash, a 49-year-old man was crossing Montgomery Street when a 68-year-old male driver was leaving a parking spot. This is when he ran into the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was seriously injured and was immediately transported to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
