Marietta, GA (September 19, 2019) – Early this morning around 4 a.m., Cobb County Police responded to the scene of a car accident at a local Marietta intersection.
According to authorities, the crash took place at the intersection of Sandy Plains Road and Holly Springs Road. The crash blocked the northbound right lane of Sandy Springs and all of the lanes of Holly Springs.
Police have not commented on the circumstances leading to the crash and what caused the vehicles to collide, but there was a large police, fire crew, and EMS presence at the scene. The number of individuals injured in the accident has not yet been confirmed but we do know that there were injuries.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
