Dalton, GA (September 13, 2019) – In Whitfield County, police and other responders were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Airport Road.
Witnesses at the scene of the crash said that it took place when a black pickup truck ran a red light and t-boned a passenger vehicle. They also claimed that this area is notorious for accidents at the red light.
The passenger vehicle involved in the accident forcefully left the road and ran into a pole. Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident so that they could assist injured parties, but did not comment on the exact circumstances of the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently ongoing.
