Cordele, GA (September 21, 2019) – This past week, a fatal accident took place at the intersection of Old Hatley Road and GA-300 that involved three vehicles in Cordele.
The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office and other emergency responders were called to the scene of the crash, where they found that there were multiple victims, including those with injuries. A medical helicopter was called to the scene of the accident to assist with those injured.
The accident involved a box truck and a passenger vehicle. Police claim that the intersection had been busy for quite some time. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, identified as a 60-year-old woman.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
