Chatsworth, GA (September 23, 2019) – Around 6 p.m. this evening, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries that took place on Highway 411 in Chatsworth.
According to Murray County Police, the crash took place in the northbound lanes of the highway. According to a witness update, the crash closed down the highway completely in the area.
The damages to the vehicles involved were extremely severe. Police are not sure of the circumstances that led to the accident but claim that it took place between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle.
At least one person was injured and transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, we do not know the extent of their injuries and their condition at this time.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
