Calhoun, GA (September 20, 2019) – This morning, a two-vehicle accident was reported at a local Calhoun intersection. Police were immediately dispatched to find that parties had been injured.
According to authorities in Gordon County, the crash took place in Calhoun at the intersection of Highway 41 and Red Bud Road. The crash took place between a gray SUV and a white pickup truck.
Though police are unsure of the circumstances leading up to the collision, photographs taken at the scene show that it was a T-bone accident and that the SUV had been struck in the side when the other vehicle came through the intersection.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash so that they could assist those with injuries.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is currently ongoing.
