Atlanta, GA (September 25, 2019) – Around 5:39 a.m. this morning, police responded to a car crash on GA-402 that blocked three lanes of traffic in Atlanta.
According to police, the crash took place in the westbound lanes of the highway and blocked the three center lanes of traffic for some time. Police were urging drivers in the area to find alternative routes due to massive delays.
According to police, the accident involved several vehicles. Photographs at the scene of the accident showed that two box trucks were also involved in the accident. Unfortunately, we do not know the exact circumstances leading up to the accident. However, police have deemed this an injury crash and said that one or more parties were hospitalized as a result.
Though the cause of the accident has not yet been determined, police continue their investigation at this time.
