Atlanta, GA (September 27, 2019) – On Wednesday, September 25, police claim that a fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.
At the time, it was confirmed that a contractor was guiding a bag loading truck when he was suddenly struck and pinned between the truck and an airplane.
The contractor was immediately rushed by paramedics to the Grady Memorial Hospital. However, while there, he tragically passed away from his severe injuries.
The man was a contractor who was working for United Airlines that day. His name and general identity have not yet been released.
OSHA and local police continue their investigation into the accident.
