Atlanta, GA (September 9, 2019) – This morning, a bus accident took place at an unspecified intersection in Atlanta when a police cruiser and bus collided with one another.
At the time, Atlanta Police claim that the bus had a green light and was going through the intersection when a local officer suddenly ran into it with his cruiser.
Police have confirmed that, at the time, the officer was not responding to a call and investigators are not sure why the lights and sirens were activated on the officer’s vehicle when he came through the intersection.
The officer suffered facial injuries and a concussion and the bus driver received leg injuries. There was one passenger on the bus and they did not have injuries.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
