Villa Rica, GA (August 28, 2019) – In Fulton County, police responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident this morning on I-20 that led to injuries.
The accident, according to police, took place in the westbound lanes of the highway and led to three lanes of traffic being blocked, that led to massive delays in the area.
Police at the scene were helping those delayed seek an alternative route at Highway 78. The scene took some time to clear and happened just after 8 a.m. this morning.
Paramedics and various firefighting crews arrived to assist parties at the scene of the accident. Injuries were reported, but police have not said how many were injured or what their conditions are at this time.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
