Gainesville, GA (August 31, 2019) – On Friday afternoon, August 30, two people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash in Gainesville.
The accident took place at the intersection of Pearl Nix Parkway and Dorsey Street. The accident allegedly took place when a Chevy Tahoe was being driven by a 17-year-old minor and rear-ended a Ford Edge driven by a 59-year-old man from Gainesville.
The Tahoe immediately traveled into oncoming lanes and struck a Ford F-550 driven by a 68-year-old man from Gainesville.
Police believe that the driver who slammed into the other suffered from a medical episode in the midst of the crash. He has been reported in critical condition at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The second party also suffered injuries and was hospitalized.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
