Atlanta, GA (August 31, 2019) – This morning, police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place on I-285 in Atlanta and caused injuries to one or more people.
DeKalb County Police responded to the scene of the accident on I-285 to find that the crash took place when two or more vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway. The vehicles involved were badly damaged and it is believed that one of the vehicles sustained front-end damage.
The center lane of the highway was blocked for quite some time. There were delays in the area as paramedics assisted the parties injured in this crash. At least one person was boarded into the ambulance and taken to the hospital with injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is currently ongoing.
