Atlanta, GA (August 29, 2019) – In DeKalb County, police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries that took place in the southbound lanes of I-85.
The crash, according to police, took place on the right shoulder and led to delays in the area. There had previously been slow traffic leaving SR-316 at the time that was worsened by the crash.
Police claim that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident, which might have taken place due to one party following too closely, as it appeared to have been a rear-end collision.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash so that they could assist those with injuries.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
