Atlanta, GA (August 30, 2019) – In Dekalb County, police were called to the scene of a car accident in the westbound lanes of I-285 that led to serious injuries.
The accident, according to authorities, took place past an exit and blocked two left lanes of traffic as a result. There were extensive delays in the area.
Police did not comment on the circumstances of the accident but have said that multiple vehicles collided with one another. There were extensive damages reported in the accident.
Paramedics and other responders were called to the scene of the accident and assisted one or more parties who received serious injuries in the crash. EMS crews could be seen in the area.
