Acworth, GA (August 31, 2019) – Police in Whitfield County, Georgia responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on I-75 in Acworth and led to injuries.
The accident, according to police, took place in the northbound lanes of the highway and involved multiple vehicles. Police have not commented on the circumstances of the crash and what caused the vehicles to collide.
Police have stated that one person was trapped inside a mangled vehicle following the accident and had to be rescued by firefighters who responded to the scene of the crash. Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident so that they could assist those with injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
